And just like that, the Pink Ladies are up, football season has begun, the kids are back in school and Fall is in the air. I can remember when I was little and anticipating Christmas. My mother taught us to gauge the time by how many Sunday newspapers there were until the holiday. It seems like it took forever for those Sunday papers with the
colorful comics to come around each week until Christmas was finally here. Now decades later, I feel like I’m riding
in a Maserati on the freeway, clutching my pearls and screaming “Slow Down!”. Time is just flying by.
This month is the annual Car & Motorcycle Show – start the day with the pancake breakfast at the Senior Center, then the Car Show, and why not end the evening at Open Mic at CPAC? Be sure to see our Event Calendar on page 7 for all the September events.
