David, first born son of late Wilbur and Dora Lingner 12/08/1938 San Francisco, passed 07/25/2023, Sacramento.
- 2019 Preceded in death by wife of 56 years, Darlene
- Survived by son Douglas (wife Janine, children Olivia and Seth), daughter Kristy (partner Myles)
- Resident of Cloverdale 1948 until 10/31/2015
David loved to “play” with cars, tools, fishing, hunting, home improvements, really any excuse to buy the latest and greatest tool or gadget!
Once retired, David built a shop. If that garage door was open, so was “Lingner’s Old Fart Daycare.” He might grumble about not getting anything done, but he enjoyed the company.
David “played” his whole life, including a gun range trip this year prior to death. At 83, he was still a crack shot.
