Happy (recent) 100th Birthday to local Cloverdale artist, Ann Gillis. She came to Cloverdale thru Ellis Island in 1920. When she was just a few months old, her family headed to Cloverdale where they settled on Dutcher Creek Road and now, 100 years later she’s still on the ranch. Ann went to school on Dutcher Creek and then to Geyserville High School. She earned her degree at U.C. Berkeley and speaks three languages – Spanish, Italian and English. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday with a Proclamation from the City of Cloverdale.
