Alisa was born in Healdsburg then came home to Cloverdale, where she spent most of her life. She graduated from CHS in 1980, she attended college at SRJC and the St. Lukes nursing program in San Francisco. She married David Machen in 1985. She was
preceded in death by her parents Harry R. and Thelma M. Unger, her niece JoAnna Wegener and her nephew Aaron Smith.
Alisa is survived by her beloved daughter Kelsey Machen Dailey (Samantha), her sister Linda Unger Sumner, her brother Gregory Unger (Deena), her niece Amy Wegener-Taganashi (Kiko), and nieces and nephews Aaron Unger, Cody Carroll, Arthur and Fiona Taganashi, and Casey and Chase Stone.
Alisa was known for her sweetness, laughter, love of horses, kittens, rocks, and her family. She will be greatly missed. A memorial celebration of life was held on September 28th at Lake Sonoma.
