We are smack dab in the middle of a hot Cloverdale summer – the heat reminds me of childhood summers at the beach on the Russian River. People all over town are keeping cool by jumping in a pool, splashing in the river, running through the sprinklers, sliding on a splash pad, enjoying the beach at Yorty Creek, sitting by a mister or simply staying indoors with the A/C blasting.
When the sun goes down and the temperature drops, don’t miss any of our great events in town – Friday Night Live, performances at CPAC, dining out at one of our many local restaurants or a cool night out at the movie theater. And with all this heat, the first day of school is right around the corner, so get out and enjoy these last weeks of summer – I know I will!
