BARBARA JEAN (COUEY) DUVALL

Barbara Jean DuVall resident of Cloverdale, CA flew to heaven October 15, 2020, surrounded by family just shy of her 90th Birthday

She was born November 15, 1930 in Redding, Ca to Eugene and Dorothy Couey the oldest of 4 children. She grew up in the Redding area until the family moved to Willits, Ca where she me Jack DuVall her husband of 49 years. They bought their home in Cloverdale in 1955 and raised their family there.

After Jack’s death Barbara continued to winter in Wellton, AZ where she met Jay Martino. She and Jay wintered in Wellton and Summered in Price, UT until his death in March 2020.  After Jay’s death Barbara moved back to the family home in Cloverdale.

Barbara touched many lives with her gentle caring heart and loved not only her DuVall Family but also her Martino Family very much. Barbara is survived by her daughters Sandy (Jack) Townsend, Jaci (Dave) Gomez and Teri (Tim)Dart, Lane (Kim) Martino and Lynn Martino and their families. She leaves 7 grandchildren Rick (Val) Townsend, Tammy (Owen) Nunnemaker, Anthony Dogali, Tiffany (Andrew) McCann, Karl Gomez, Brian Shoopman and George (Nicole) Shoopman, Also Bruce Shoopman 6 great grandchildren, Colton, Cooper and Chloe Townsend, Allyssa Nunnemaker , Paris and Sawyer Shoopman Great great granddaughter Ella Townsend Sister Shirley Ford and Brother Bob (Judy) Couey and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Eugene and Dorothy Couey, husband for 49 years Jack DuVall, son Larry DuVall and brother George Couey, son-in-law George Dogali and Jay Martino

As per her request there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your favorite charity.
