The other day I ran into a friend in the parking lot of the hardware store and we stopped for a few minutes and chatted about what our grown children are up to, what summer trips we have planned, our various ailments – just the little details of life and as I was driving home, I thought of how I’ve known and loved that person for more than half my life. That’s what is so great about living in a small town – I see people I know while I’m out doing
ordinary things. So, this summer whether you’re at Friday Night Live or watching the 4th of July Parade or grabbing a burger at Pick’s, be sure to smile and wave and spread some of that small town love around because that’s what makes our Cloverdale community so special.
I’ll see you around town!
