“Days when the rain came…” It felt good to get some rain recently and now the chilly days have set in and a new year begins.
Luckily, I don’t write very many checks anymore as it always was a challenge for me to remember that it’s a New Year and I’d have to cross out the previous year and scribble in the new year every time I made out a check.
January is traditionally the month when we make an effort to list detailed resolutions on being a better person going forward whether it’s our health, or our family relations, or work – writing down things like: lose weight, quit smoking, drink less, work harder. I gave up making a detailed list years ago and now I just tell myself every day “just do better”.
I wish you all a Happy New Year filled with good health and great experiences.
I’ll see you around town!
