Nellie Marie Randen was born September 10, 1935 in House, New Mexico to Glenn and Nellie Devenport. After graduating High School in Winslow, Arizona, Nellie worked as a “Harvey House Girl” for the railroad in New Mexico. She then attended business school. On October 9, 1954, she married Martin Randen in Winslow, Arizona.
Marty and Nellie made their home in Cloverdale, California. Nellie was the office manager for Barnes Lumber for many years. Grace Lutheran became their home church.
She passed peacefully from this life on October 10, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Donell and sister Margaret Ann. Her happy smile, fun stories and dedication to family will be remembered by her sister, Etta, and many nieces and nephews. A service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church on November 15th at 10 AM.
