From the Editor
With the recent passing of Robert Duvall, I am reminded of the great novel, Lonesome Dove. It’s one of my favorites. I have read the book a couple of times, listened to the audio version several times, and watched the film version. I have always been an avid reader, and my father even built a beautiful library wall for my bedroom when I was a child, where I kept dozens of my favorite books.
This month in Cloverdale Connect, we are introducing two new features. The first is a monthly book review and the second is a spotlight on a local author from our community each month. Books provide comfort, adventure, information, and a respite from our day-to-day lives and the chaos of the outside world. We hope you enjoy these new features and the books that
are presented.
Cloverdale Connect is always interested in suggestions for new content, and welcomes reader comments.
See you around town!
