From the Editor

It’s officially Fall and we’re about to jump into the holiday season full of events. I personally have just returned from the annual Tater Tot Festival in Ontario Oregon, the birthplace of the Ore Ida tater tot. It’s hard to top that for fun. However, right here in our community, coming up we have several music events, Geyserville Fall Colors, Ray Pesce’s Pasta Fundraiser for the Senior Center, the Kiwanis Race, Rotary Asti Tour de Vine, a pumpkin pie bake-off, and so much more to enjoy!

Featured in this issue, catch up with the Donkey King and learn more about Oscar’s Place. It’s a great story and an insight about what he’s accomplished. You’ll also find statements from City Council candidates, we introduce our new FFA reporter, and you can ask yourself “What would Dolly do?”

“Think about what brings you joy and lean into it. You don’t have to open a donkey sanctuary to find joy. Just lean into whatever brings you joy.”

See you around town!

Dana
