The Cloverdale Food Pantry, located at 202 Commercial St., is open every Friday from 12 to 3 pm.
Free groceries are distributed to all who come to the door. The Cloverdale Food Pantry is a non-profit organization and operates on community donations of money and non-perishable food. The volunteers collect food donations from local grocery stores and bakeries weekly for distribution at the pantry. They also purchase food at the Redwood Empire Food Bank in Santa Rosa weekly.
The Food Pantry relies on donations of non-perishable food and canned goods from individuals in the community. During normal times volunteers will conduct community food drives to collect canned goods and non-perishable food items for the Food Pantry. The Cloverdale Food Pantry operates by the hard work of our local volunteer organizations and the generosity of our local community. Volunteers from the Good Shepherd Church, Living Water Church, United Church of Cloverdale, Saint Peters Church, and the KIWANIS Club of Cloverdale take turns opening the Food Pantry, collecting food and distributing the food weekly.
The Cloverdale Food Pantry has a Board of Directors and a Treasurer who are responsible for the policies and procedures at the Pantry and the financial procedures.
